All Guests and Staff must wear a mask in the communal areas of the building (unless exempt).
When entering the building please disinfect your hands at the hand sanitizing station beside the key collection point.
Before leaving your apartment and entering the communal spaces, please wash your hands.
Follow the social distancing guidelines by giving space to others when passing one another in communal spaces.
We ask you to refrain from touching surfaces in communal areas unless absolutely necessary.
Please ensure you leave the apartment as tidy as possible by placing all dirty crockery and utensils in the dishwasher before you depart, to help keep our cleaning staff safe.

Our apartments in Harrogate town centre offer you a clean, safe, secure home from home for you to relax in and our team are working hard to do all we can to try keep you safe from covid-19.

Where possible we will be leaving adequate time between stays to ensure that each apartment has time to be cleaned to our high standards along with addressing the new sanitizing measures we have put in place, that specifically targets high touch points and carrying out carefully considered processes of handling and transporting linen and towels throughout the building, whilst wearing the appropriate PPE inside the apartments to protect staff and guests.

Enjoy the convenience of having an open plan living/dining area with a fully equipped kitchen for you to prepare and cook your own meals, should you choose not to dine out.

You have the choice of being provided with a breakfast pack and/or frozen gourmet meal/s in your apartment ready for you on arrival, so you don't need to go shopping for the essentials when you arrive without having to come into contact with our staff delivering food to your door. There is plenty of storage space for more food you bring/buy/have delivered when here and each apartment has a fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer.

There is a secure in/out entry system and 24 hour recorded CCTV on site to ensure the safety of our guests whilst operating with minimal contact between staff and other guests.

In our entrance and communal areas we are applying disinfectants during routine cleaning and we have put up signs reminding everyone in the building to wash hands regularly and to respect others by abiding to the social distancing advice outlined by the government. We have also placed a transparent screen at the front desk between reception staff and guests.

We operate a self check-in/out key safe system with anti-bacterial station beside and we try to provide you with everything you could need in your apartment for a comfortable stay.

Extensions to stays can be arranged subject to availability. Please give us as much notice as possible should you wish to extend your stay by contacting us directly via phone or email.

The contract cleaning company we use have even implemented a new hygiene procedure for all of the team to follow as an extra precaution...

"Our cleaning team will be working alone to minimise contact with others. We are very stringent on the hygiene practices we have adopted.
Hand washing is compulsory for all when entering and leaving the property. The teams are regularly washing hands as per the guidelines. Our team have been provided with disposable gloves, which must be worn when cleaning and disposed of after every property.

We will be using an anti-bacterial contact spray, which will be used when entering an apartment. The team will be spraying high contact areas such as light switches, taps, window opening, TV remotes and appliance handles. The spray has a contact time of 3-5 minutes, hence why we will do this on areas first of all.

We will also ensure that used laundry is fully bagged, before transferring this anywhere else in the building.

We are also using anti-bacterial spray in communal areas on areas such as light switches, lift buttons and door handles."
Joe - General Manager of the contract cleaning company we use.

The Gov text below was updated on 7th August 2020... (With details changing daily more updates will be coming soon)...

"You can travel outside your area even if your area is restricted. However, you must not meet people you do not live with in their home or garden, whether inside or outside of your area, unless they’re in your support bubble.

You can still go on holiday outside of your area, but you should only do this with people you live with (or have formed a support bubble with).

There is separate guidance on what to do if you have booked holiday accommodation in an area with local restrictions. See below...

Guidance on holidays in areas with local coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions
What you should do if you're on holiday in an area with local coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions or live in a restricted area and are planning on taking a holiday outside the area.

Introduction
The government has announced some adjustments to the roadmap to recovery set out on 17 July. This is because we are starting to see warning signs that the virus may be growing again. We have always been clear that any planned changes are conditional and reviewed based on infection rates. We will continue to review these measures and set out further details of any changes. See further information regarding local lockdown areas.
In parts of Northern England and in the City of Leicester, you must not meet with people you do not live with in private homes or in gardens. There are limited exceptions set out in law, including where you have formed a legally-permitted support bubble with another household. You should also avoid meeting people you do not live with in public venues, such as bars and restaurants.

Staying inside the area - Steps you should take
• If you live inside the area, you should only socialise indoors with members of your own household or support bubble
• You can only stay in a private home - which includes self-catered accommodation such as holiday cottages, apartments or boats - with members of your own household or support bubble
• You can stay in a hotel or similar accommodation (for example, a hostel or bed and breakfast) with another household, but should avoid sharing rooms with people you do not live with or otherwise socialising indoors, for example in each other's rooms, in reception areas, or in restaurants and bars
• We advise against sharing a caravan with another household. You should not share private vehicles to travel to your holiday destination
You can travel into an area with local restrictions on holiday. Whilst inside the area, you should follow the guidance set out above - in particular, you must not stay in a private home there - which includes self-catered accommodation such as holiday cottages, apartments or boats - with people you do not normally live with.
At the time that local restrictions are brought in, if you are currently on holiday with another household in an area with local restrictions and are staying in a private home - which includes self-catered accommodation such as holiday cottages, apartments or boats - and it is not reasonable for you to curtail your stay, you should finish your holiday as planned. Until the end of this holiday you should make every effort to reduce socialising indoors outside of your household and follow local regulations and guidance.
If you are not able to take a planned holiday due to local restrictions, we encourage accommodation providers to offer alternative dates if this can be agreed with you. If this cannot be arranged, we encourage businesses to provide a refund as they have for customers during the broader period of national restrictions, which may depend on the terms of the booking contract.
