MASKS to wear or not to wear?
"Wearing a mask and socially distancing from others is no longer a legal requirement in our communal spaces. 
However, COVID-19 has not gone away, cases are on the rise again, so it’s important to remember the actions we can all take to keep everyone safe. 
 
We want all our Guests and Staff to feel comfortable and safe, so it would be greatly appreciated if you choose to wear a mask and keep your distance in our communal areas. All our staff will continue to wear masks to help protect you and other staff members.

Unable to travel due to Government restrictions?  Should you not be able to travel due to Government Restrictions (LOCKDOWN) then we will move your booking to a future date, if you booked your stay directly through our website.  However, for non-refundable bookings made after 19th July 2021: By this date we expect that all customers were aware of the risk of further Coronavirus spread, and as such know the risk they were taking when making any new Non-refundable reservations. Therefore all non-refundable reservations made as of 19th July 2021, we will no longer apply Force Majeure conditions for guests seeking to cancel or modify these bookings due to the current Coronavirus. These reservations will be treated like any standard non-refundable booking, according to our policies and procedures. 

We’re Good to Go shows we have taken the required action to welcome our visitors in line with Government and Public Health England guidelines.

If I need to cancel my booking due to coronavirus or travel restrictions, will I be refunded for my stay? 
We are adhering to the Government Guidance regarding safety measures for our Guests and staff and have been certified as "We're Good To Go" by Visit Britain so we hope you choose to continue with your plans to stay at Harrogate Lifestyle Apartments. 
Unless we are unable to operate and forced to close, we are open for business. 
Should you not be able to travel due to Government Restrictions (lockdown) then we will move your booking to a future date. 
We are unable to offer refunds for non-refundable deposits/bookings and the Policy at the time of booking will apply. 
Should you not be able to travel due to changes caused by coronavirus, this is out of our control and does not change our cancellation terms and conditions. 
If you are unsure, then we have a partially refundable option available. 
If you are unsure of your booking cancellation policy, for direct bookings please check our confirmation email or for bookings via online agents (Booking.com / Expedia / Hotels.com etc) please contact them directly.

Where possible we leave adequate time between stays to ensure that each apartment has time to be cleaned to our high standards along with addressing the new sanitizing measures we have put in place, that specifically targets high touch points and carrying out carefully considered processes of handling and transporting linen and towels throughout the building, whilst wearing the appropriate PPE inside the apartments to protect staff and guests. 
 
In our entrance and communal areas we are applying disinfectants during routine cleaning and we have put up a hand sanitizing station in reception along with signs throughout the building reminding everyone to wear a mask and wash hands regularly whilst to respecting others in abiding to the social distancing rules. We operate a contact less check-in/out.  

How you can help us keep each other safe... 

During the Coronavirus Pandemic we are temporarily asking all guests to do the following during your stay: 
Please wear a mask / viser in the communal areas of the building (unless exempt). 
Please disinfect your hands at the hand sanitizing station beside the key collection point on check-in. 
Before leaving/entering the communal spaces, please wash/sanitize your hands. 
By law customers can only visit as part of a household or support bubble and only interact with their group. 
Please continue to allow no less than 1 metre social distancing space between you and other people in communal spaces.  
Refrain from touching surfaces in communal areas unless absolutely necessary. 
Place all dirty crockery and utensils in the dishwasher before you depart. 
If you are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 during your stay, you must inform us on 01423 568820.

"Our cleaning team will be working alone, where possible, to minimise contact with others. We are very stringent on the hygiene practices we have adopted. 
Hand washing is compulsory for all when entering and leaving the property. The teams are regularly washing hands as per the guidelines. 
We will be using an Anti-microbial contact spray, which will be used when entering an apartment. 
The team will be spraying high contact areas such as light switches, taps, window opening, TV remotes and appliance handles. The spray has a contact time of 3-5 minutes, hence why we will do this on areas first of all. 
We will also ensure that used laundry is fully bagged, before transferring this anywhere else in the building. 
We are also using anti-viral spray in communal areas on areas such as light switches, lift buttons and door handles."

Enjoy the convenience of having an open plan living/dining area with a fully equipped kitchen for you to prepare and cook your own meals, should you choose not to dine out. 
 
There is plenty of storage space for food you bring/buy/have delivered when here and each apartment has a fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer. 
There is a secure in/out entry system and 24 hour recorded CCTV on site to ensure the safety of our guests whilst operating with minimal contact between staff and other guests.  
 
In our entrance and communal areas we are applying disinfectants during routine cleaning and we have put up signs reminding everyone in the building to wash hands regularly and to respect others by abiding to the social distancing advice outlined by the government. We have also placed a transparent screen at the front desk between reception staff and guests. 
 
We operate a self check-in/out key safe system with anti-bacterial station beside and we try to provide you with everything you could need in your apartment for a comfortable stay. 
 
Extensions to stays can be arranged subject to availability. Please give us as much notice as possible should you wish to extend your stay by contacting us directly via phone or email. 
Once you have booked your stay, your card will be charged and a confirmation email will be sent to you. If you do not receive a confirmation email, then your booking has not been successful and you must contact us. If you need any assistance checking rates and availability please contact us.
