WE HOPE YOU FIND THIS INFORMATION USEFUL
What measures have you put in place to keep me safe from Coronavirus?
We would like to reassure all our guests that your safety and the safety of our staff is our highest priority and we have put new systems in place to do all we can to protect you from the virus. Please visit the Covid-19 page of our website for more information and latest updates. Thank you.
If I need to cancel my booking due to coronavirus or travel restrictions will I be refunded for my stay?
Harrogate Lifestyle Apartments is a small independent business and whilst we are very sympathetic to those who do decide to cancel their stay, unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds for non-refundable bookings as per the cancellation policy agreed at the time of making the reservation.
If you require invoices for insurance claim purposes, please contact us, as we will provide these on request as quickly as we can.
If you are unsure of your booking cancellation policy, for direct bookings please check our confirmation email or for bookings via online agents (Booking.com / Expedia / Hotels.com etc) please contact them directly.

Will there be any adjustment to the rates charged now that the VAT rate has reduced from 20 to only 5% ?
The Government have introduced a temporary 5% reduction rate of VAT for certain supplies of hospitality, hotel and holiday accommodation, and admissions to certain attractions.
This cut in the VAT rate from the standard rate of 20% will have effect from 15 July 2020 to 12 January 2021. The Government guidelines state that any payments before the 15th July will be at the 20% rate.
The prices on our website include VAT. VAT becomes due when the payment is made.
The reduction in VAT is going to help many businesses like ours survive a very difficult time and we ask our guests to be sympathetic to our need to retain this VAT reduction within the business.
The average price per night for all stays with us has been reduced significantly since the relaxing of lockdown.
We cannot state clearly enough, there will be many hospitality businesses that will not survive this winter. The government is just trying to ensure that we will still be open after winter by allowing us to keep some VAT.
How do I find and get into the apartment?
All our apartments are located at 18 Spa Buildings Kings Road, Harrogate, HG1 1BT. We send the person who booked the stay, an arrival instructions email a few days prior to arrival, which provides you with all the details you need on how to find us, where to park and how to access your apartment. The email will include an entry code into the building and another code to open the lock box in the entrance area that holds your apartment key.
It is very important that guests print and bring with them the arrival instructions email as we are not always on site. Without this you will not be able to enter your apartment, as you will not have the access codes! The email will be entitled "URGENT REPLY REQUIRED: Your important check in and arrival instructions..."
Do you have a luggage store on site?
Due to the nature of a self check-in serviced apartment, regrettably we are unable to offer storage of luggage prior to check-in/after check-out. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
However we have heard about a service called BagBnb which could be useful to you. We are in no way associated with Bagbnb therefore cannot accept any liability for any +/- experiences with them. Using their service would be at your own risk but we hope this info helps point you in the right direction.
