We go to Harrogate for the Gilbert and Sullivan Festival, and the apartments are literally 2 minutes' walk from the Royal Hall, where the shows take place. In our first year we booked a studio flat - a large all-in-one room with en suite - and this was gleamingly clean, pleasingly decorated, supplied with all necessary kitchen equipment, and a wonderfully huge bed. From the second year we booked a one-bedroom apartment, which was even better, with a separate bedroom and bathroom. It's surprising how much extra room this provides, with an entrance hall, and a corridor between the living room, bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is always spotless, and when we stay more than a week it is also cleaned during our stay. The building is quiet and stately - love the grand staircase especially. The rooms are warm and inviting. Even in August it has sometimes been rainy, and we have a perfect base to sit this out. Jessica and the team could not be nicer or more helpful, going out of their way to answer any query. Previously we had tried a hotel, and two differently owned luxury-type apartments - but they were not a patch on Harrogate Lifestyle Apartments, either for location, facilities or a friendly team.

We have stayed at the previous property managed by Lifestyle, and they were well finished and maintained and ideal location.
